Incubator Temperature and Humidity Settings: Critical Balances for Successful Hatching
Adept Makine

The two most critical parameters in incubator use are temperature and humidity. For chicken eggs, the ideal temperature is 37.5–38 °C, while humidity should be 55–60% during incubation and 65–70% during hatching days.

Every 0.5 °C deviation in temperature directly affects hatch rates. Measure at least twice daily with a digital hygrometer and thermometer. INCUVIONLAB machines automatically maintain these balances with their dual-sensor system.

If humidity is too low the embryo dries out; too high and the air cell shrinks, risking suffocation. Keep the water tank clean and prevent lime buildup.
